Bob Hopkins joins on the mic at for the fundraiser

Bob Hopkins has been a part of the Amarillo’s music scene since settling here in 1982. From 1984 to 1990 Bob was a member of the popular Amarillo band KRAKT, and has opened for notable acts including Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Doobie Brothers, Sammy Davis Jr., Creedance Clearwater Revival, David Frizzell, Dan Seals and Pat Benatar. In 1992, he took a three year break to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA graduating Magna Cum Laude. After returning to Amarillo in 1995, he was Production Manager for the Amarillo Civic Center until 2003. Bob currently teaches full time at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch and produces music for commercials, video’s and recording artists with his company Robert James Music Productions. Bob is an active member of Hollywood Road Community Church.
